hi, I agree, but it's not like we Indians don't want to spend or like to spend but the thing is the generational trauma that our great-grand-fathers face during British Era or even in mugal Era. that made use so weak as a society that we start giving being alive the highest priority, we hate uncertainty of income and fear uncertainty of what's coming next. most of the people are still living on per day earning bases. every penny they earn, they want to save it. our government is not able to provide the safer environment. the environment where people feel safe enough to take risk and can think of good living standard. rather the government is Giving freebies which suddenly release the pressure from these people but at the same time make them stop working. most of these people have never ever dream off luxury. because their whole mindset is in survival mode.
