Even that is not sustainable. Flex engines, improved ICE and Hydrogen are the future. EVs are a stop gap measure that cause more harm in the long run.

You make a valid point. Flex fuel engines improved internal combustion engines (ICE) and hydrogen technology offer alternative solutions that could be more sustainable than current EVs. Each of these has the potential to reduce dependency on limited resources like lithium. EVs might indeed serve as a temporary solution but to achieve true sustainability a mix of technologies including hydrogen and biofuels may be necessary in the long term.
