Make no mistake in thinking that the Trump presidency is friendly with India, _*it is only friendly with terms and conditions*_. In Biden's administration, _*we saw India making a few trade advancements but with Trump that seems limited*_, ‼️ The White House released this statement after PM Modi had a conversation with President Trump - _"The President emphasized the importance of India increasing its procurement of American-made security equipment and moving toward a fair bilateral trading relationship"_ 📝 This means the US expects India to keep buying or even increase the buying of American equipment, _*this goes totally against our motto of "Make in India"*_. 🦁🇮🇳🤷‍♂️ Trump's threat of tariffs has worked and _*he is pushing for a "fair trading relationship"*_ and the definition of "fair" will be set by the Trump administration, India cannot straight away deleverage from the US. 👀🚨
