The difference is that Medial just caters to very limited genre like Business, Money and tech. Because of this whenever you open Medial, you know that you'll see only helpfull posts.
Still trying to figure out how on earth the algorithm of Medial works. I see some good posts that are very very rare and when I go to their feed , it's actually some sensible stuff they are speaking.

I think Medial will become just another social media platform, if it keeps on allowing all kind of posts to gain traction.
If it was created for startups .. then its creators should stick to the same genre only.
