Closely following the US election, I’ve come to appreciate something truly beautiful: it’s a war of ideologies. No religion, no riots, no violence. Just a war of ideas. This aspect of America is incredibly inspiring. The peaceful yet passionate exchange of ideas, the ability to debate and disagree without descending into chaos—these are the hallmarks of a mature democracy.

But it’s not always as ideal as it seems. The US election can still be divisive, and sometimes things do get tense, even if it’s not physical. Issues like misinformation and polarization show that every democracy has its own challenges. Some guy had to spend some 40B to buy twitter and help them stop misinformation.
