Interesting but not enough. Compare it to China and USA. We are still in infant stage. Most startups with great R&D don't get funded. I am saying this from my personal experience. I have a friend from a lower middle class background, but very talented and ambitious, who was turned down by a VC because his product required massive R&D. Now he has left the project and is looking for a job in multinational companies. Meanwhile, VCs are funding 5 minute delivery or 10 minute delivery for lazy ass that need 0 r&d . This won't help the country in the long run. I hope gov will step in and provide necessary funding for the good projects. One more thing we need silicon valley like projects in atleast 3 zones( South,North, East) to accelerate the startup ecosystem

Do you think focusing on designing, development and R&D of a product or securing funding and market research should be the first priority when building a product-based startup?
