Noticed HubSpot, it was co-founded by MIT graduates as you know but it's because the university has a program called MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund that provides funding and mentorship to student startups, sometimes in exchange for equity. So yeah, there is a reference point of it happening out there but think of it, do they gove you something beneficial enough to be on board? Do they share the vision?
