We already have bionic arms, artificial hearts, and chips implanted for various functions. It’s not a stretch to say that humans might become part-machine in the future. It’s more likely that we’ll “evolve” with tech faster than through natural selection.

But you're not totally wrong. Evolution never really stops, it just takes longer than we can notice. Physically, we might not see changes for thousands of years, but with how fast tech is evolving, we might merge with machines before that.
