Companies may appear environmentally responsible by purchasing RECs, but it ultimately allows them to sidestep the real changes necessary for sustainable operations. We need to hold them accountable for actual carbon reductions, not just clever accounting but how to? How mnay class acton lawsuits to be filed an dfought against these giants?
