True, read somewhere that the difference in energy consumption between generating a search result on google vs on chatgpt is in the magnitude of 10 or even 100x. It's all new and fancy but the verdict is still out on whether it will be sustainable. Just like bitcoing, which is still mineable through GPUs, the rest of the crypto currencies like Eth and others have understood they should shift from this model for a more sustainable one.
