Zomato is going after a brand new market of "going out" Its new upcoming app "District" would allow you to discover and book restaurants, book movie tickets & events and plan a staycation. According to Deepindar if this decision is executed well it could become the 3rd largest B2C business out of Zomato after food delivery and quick commerce. But why is the company doing this? in simple words "for growth". Deepindar has been very out spoken about his vision of making Zomato a $100 dollar company. This first step in achieving it was to become a leader in food delivery market, once that happened, he looked at the quick commerce market as the next target and launched blink it and now they are focusing on grabbing an even bigger opportunity in the form of building a one stop destination app for almost all outdoor activities. So what do you think about Deepindar's decision and would district be a success or not? let me know in the comments below 👇 Thank You
