Ah, the eternal search of human existence..finding meaning and fulfillment in our fleeting time on this pale blue dot. The advice to "choose a career you love" sounds simple, yet it's a hell lot more complex when we truly think about it. What is "love" in the context of a career? Is it the fleeting dopamine rush of solving a problem, or the deep satisfaction of contributing to something greater than ourselves? Perhaps it's the Sisyphean struggle itself that we come to embrace. We often mistake temporary passion for enduring love.

A career, like any long-term relationship, has its ups and downs. Some days you'll feel on top of the world, others you'll question every life choice that led you here. The real test isn't whether you're constantly enamored, but whether you find meaning even in the mundane moments. Don’t you think even Einstein would’ve taken a break from his physics book, time-to-time. Our interests and values evolve as we journey through life. What you love at 20 may not resonate at 40. The self is not a fixed entity, but a river constantly in flux. Perhaps the goal isn't to find a singular, unchanging passion, but to cultivate the ability to find joy and purpose in whatever path we currently walk.
