Indian Army Departs for Exercise Al Najah V in Oman A contingent of the Indian Army left for Exercise Al Najah V, the fifth edition of the India-Oman Joint Military Exercise. Exercise Dates: Scheduled from September 13 to 26, 2024. Location: Rabkoot Training Area, Salalah, Oman. Objective: The exercise focuses on counter-terrorism operations in a desert environment. Biennial Event: Exercise Al Najah is conducted every two years, alternating between India and Oman since 2015. The last edition took place at Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan in 2022.
