Hi Guys want to get some guidance on MBA & Career 1. Right now I'll give this year's CAT, it will 2 years of Gap for me (nothing to Justify) 2. I got an Tier 3/4 College, 6lpa avg placement, don't know about Marketing roles much as I want to take Marketing spec 3. Is there any way by getting in this college & with self preparation I can get good job in Marketing as I am confident enough that I can be skilled enough for 10+lpa job 4. If I gave CAT this year at max I can achieve 95% from here (VARC too weak) & also not confident, anxiety stress issue also 5. Is there any way to get in Marketing jobs without doing MBA & what are the growth chances there Thanks for your guidance/suggestions

If you really want to go into the marketing space and want a good package i feel only MBA would not help. Indeed MBA is a great way to get jobs in marketing but you wont get the best of jobs just by having a master’s degree. Marketing is more of a skill, so i would suggest you to acquire the real marketing skill while doing your MBA. You can gain this skill by reading books, listening to podcast and most importantly working in the field. Get some other certifications in the field and start working as an intern. So when you get your MBA done youll have the required skill and experience to give you a great start after MBA.

If you're gunning for marketing, look into certifications—Google, Facebook Ads, SEO—companies care more about practical skills than theory nowadays. You don’t always need the MBA route.
