Is polytechnic engineering (diploma) in electronics is good I get to know from many people that it's trash degree?

Well it is a good alternative to do after 10th if you want to pursue B.Tech in the same field as you will spend 3 years learning a lot of the concepts that you will in B.tech and then in B.tech when you go for elect and telecom, you will go directly to second year. So win win.
