I recently have gone through the "Medial Showcase" entries (532* in total.. when I was reading), and unfortunately, 99% are dumb. Here are some reasons: 1. Startup ideas that barely qualify as startups : Most entries are basic agencies or small businesses masquerading as startups. 2. Lack of originality: Many ideas already exist in the market, with only minor tweaks or improvements. 3. Overuse of "A.I.": Too many entries label themselves as A.I. without any substantial innovation. 4. Ideas that No one care about : Many concepts seem disconnected from real-world needs, with no clear audience or impact. 5. Catering To a very small catagory : Applies only to a Sub-Section to a Very small catagory
