Just saw an American startup received 2.5 million dollar funding but spent 1.8 million dollar in just buying domain. What do you guys think of this decision ? Is it worth it ?

Just a random thought, not a big competition in condoms and there are very few brands can really go big, if a startup does something new with this category...
