Lets say i am a freelance copywriter and i reach out to a freelance vedio editor nad ask him to reffer me and instead i will give him the 10% of the revenue earned by the client will this work? Or this is already a thing

If I love your work and you directly told me this then i will definitely refer you in my network. That's really good approch but make it more simple and fast in terms of giving 10%
