From my early days, I opted to work in startups rather than working with MNCs. One question everyone asks me is, 'Do you still regret choosing to work in startups?' "Definitely Not". Startups allowed me to learn and understand the ground reality. I can't say I'm earning better than what my friends are earning at MNCs, but I can say that I'm learning better. You work here without any hierarchy, and you meet a recent grad who is pumped up, knows a lot, and an experienced guy who is eager to learn. When I asked them, 'What if you get laid off? They always say, 'I'll look for another job,' but I can say I can build something else if I am not able to get another job or else. Working in startups changed my mentality; it changed my perspective about how I look at things. I ain't saying MNCs won't teach better, but at the same time, startups are also not a bad option to choose. Thought of sharing this while I read many people are worried to be part of being in startups; bet you won't regret.
