I don't actually think that today's generation choose engineering because of their interest most of the people out there aren't exposed to any other fields like fashion industry, game industry, design industry, SaaS they were just being told about the luxury being an IITian/IAS would bring and are never told them about their dark side most students choose to be doctor engineer because their parents told the or the society or because of their parents dream (who failed to keep up with today's world) only a handful choose it because they had interest. According to me your life's decision should be yours not of someone telling us "You are too small for taking decisions yourself so let me do it for you" Ofc parents love their children but most of them don't even aware of the happening and evolution of technology and change in demand we as an Indian society should need to see the future rather than living according to the past This is my point of view but please correct me if I am wrong

Agree!! Learning comes along with passion, nowadays students are more into competitive exams. They are not into competitive life. What I mean is students mentality is not above cracking competitive exams. Creative thinking Critical thinking These are two major factors which lags in a student appearing for a competitive exams. NOTE : the above mentioned factors are as per my observations, and the ones which we are lagging behind can be thought and can be improved.
