On X formerly Twitter, we used to call every post a "tweet" even now also. What we should call a medial post?

Is it safe to give your number on medial community, just saw someone's post they are saying they connected with medial people on whatsapp, is it even safe?

i dont know it is my dilema or it is illusion that whever if you are sending post on medial if you want to send on whatapp aftersending it is hanging if yes than medial do look into the same serious post
