Yup, i would. See autopilot aldredy exists so it just needs little improvement and its done. I saw a podcast of Flying Beast where he said that pilots are instructed to use autopilot and not manual mode. Their main job is to handle crises. For eg if they can't land at Mumabi airport for some reason, then should they divert to Pune or Aurangabad. That's their job. And thus it's safe (probobly)
