On an annual basis, the US supplied Europe with 20% less gas, the lowest level since October 2021. At the same time, US LNG exports to Asian markets are growing. Analysts accuse the country of leaving Europe with no choice but to turn to Russia for gas. 💡 Behind the beautiful wording lies a simple fact. When gas prices were around $3000, it was profitable for the US to ship it to the EU. Now that gas is cheaper, it’s more convenient for the US to transport gas to Asia, where logistics are easier. The romance of friendship and support was only in the minds of ordinary Europeans, whose war was ignited at their expense. As soon as it became unprofitable for the US to trade, the country immediately shifted to other markets. 🌐
