Everyday I ask myself a question "Why do we toil for 8 hours daily, yet fall short of what others achieve in just 2? Is more always better, or are we missing the forest for the trees in education?" 🤔 The Indian education system, despite its reputation for producing hardworking students, is fundamentally flawed and in desperate need of reform. Our obsession with long study hours and rote learning is not just ineffective - it's actively harmful to our students and our nation's future. The Quantity Over Quality Fallacy In India, we've fallen into the trap of equating more study time with better education. Yet, despite this Herculean effort, we're not seeing the results we should expect. Meanwhile, countries with far shorter school days are outperforming us in international assessments. This glaring disparity exposes the fallacy of our "more is better" approach. The future of our nation depends on nurturing well-rounded, creative, and adaptable individuals.

Why don't we Indians know much about our Hindu liberalized philosophy, the 'Upanishads'? I think it's because, after independence, one type of ideology prevailed in our education system, which finds no pride in anything related to our Hindu roots.
