As a son of farmer in India who have 18+ acres of land and tractor invented 100+ years ago we can't able to own an tractor in india... Now if someone comes and says use this spraying drone, Ai enabled IoT devices do you think they'll gonna buy it... I know there's a lot of inefficiencies in indian agriculture but the point is it's not USA or any EU country. They got fatty pockets but here an average monthly income of farmer is ₹6.4K and in this he have to pay for his all the bills, send his child to school, bear family expenses like health, water, food, festivals... So I think there are many companies trying to do this like Fasal and all and I guarantee you that their customer base is only Creamy layer of farmers who holds 50+ acres of land or equipped in new farming techniques like polyhouse etc... So now it's upto you how to take this feedback... I think there's a lot of need of startups in PHL (post harvest losses) whichs a real problem PHL accounts for 10% to 25% of produce lost.
