I am a fresher, i recently joined a small size firm with around 50 employees. Here there is no such thing as documentation, they gave me the codebase and oral explanations about the architecture, so they give me tasks from different parts of the codebase, i jump from one service to another, one client project to another. I am always dependent on 2 3 seniors to guide me for where, why, how when things, i am get a bit irritated by that, also it takes more time than required for that task Is it not required to have proper documentation of the codebase and its architecture??? Plz share your views
