This question has always intrigued me: why are some countries unwelcoming to new technology? It has always happened and will continue to happen in the future that technology creates a great divide among countries. When the Internet and automation were first introduced, the countries that accepted them ruled the world and stayed ahead in technology. When the Internet first emerged, many countries, except the USA, were hesitant to use it. This created a technological divide, which is why we see major tech companies predominantly from the USA. Countries that accept technological changes always have the first-mover advantage and remain ahead of the curve in innovation. The same is happening with AI. According to some studies, many countries, except China, are hesitant to welcome AI. This will create a significant AI divide, and soon, some countries will fall behind.
