On X formerly Twitter, we used to call every post a "tweet" even now also. What we should call a medial post?

I have seen in a few apps, now including medial, there’s an option to report a post even for the person who posted that said post. Is there any reason for giving this option? Am I missing to see the reason, because it makes no sense for me.
