How much money do you think CrowdStrike cost its customers when its systems collapsed last week, essentially shutting down the world for a few hours?⁠ ⁠ The company itself seems to think it can be measured in $10 increments.⁠ ⁠ The cybersecurity firm has been emailing clients to apologize for the "inconvenience" it caused, and added links to $10 gift cards.⁠ ⁠ Wrote the company's chief business officer: "Your next cup of coffee or late night snack is on us!"⁠ ⁠ Even that, however, was too much for some recipients. They reported that their gift cards weren't valid.
