Be like a diplomat When communicating with someone (whether it's a partner, boss, colleague, or anyone else), show empathy and try to find common ground. Don't rush to convince them of anything - first listen carefully. Even if you have a wall of contradictions between you, save your criticism for the last moment. It's much better to prepare the person for your arguments by agreeing with them first and giving them the opportunity to save face. Start your game with clarifying questions and simple requests that are difficult to refuse. And only when you feel that you and your interlocutor are on the same wavelength, move on to controversial issues. This principle of diplomacy worked thousands of years ago and is still relevant today.
