India is losing $1.9 billion every year because of copper. Copper is a very crucial metal for manufacturing electric motors, battery, invetors and of course copper wires. And help India transition towards cleaner energy is in very high demand. But do you know that India is losing 1.9 Billion every year on importing copper because of "Copper Wire Cable Theft". Last year India's copper import costs were up by 20% from 22,000cr in FY22 to 27,000cr in FY23. But these copper wires are stolen often and cost India heavily. The increasing demand for copper also a global indicator of economic activities as copper is used in various sectors like Telecom, Electronics, Transport etc. India has to figure out how to increase the domestic production else there could be a price hike in ACs, EVs etc. Request: please drop your suggestion or feedback on how can I improve my writing skills and what can I improve in my post or contents. Thank You
