Avinsh Bajaj, Founder & Managing partner, matrix partners India, mentioned 9 characteristics traits of a founder in a post : Curiosity Grit Hunger Self control Zest Social intelligence Optimism Gratitude Hustle Further he suggested that you could rate yourself and your co founder on these traits as 0, 0.5, or 1, with 0 indicating low and 1 high. A score of 6 and above is considered great when you sum your scores across all 9 traits. Is it foolproof? Certainly not. But it gives you an ideaof what a successful founder is characterized by. If i would add one more, it would be the ABILITY to learn An ability to learn and implement fast also gives one the courage to do things that an average person would consider risky and pass.
