How does it feels when u complete a coding assignment by working hard for 2-3 days and never get a response ? Not even a rejection mail

I did once wrote entire hiring platform code, frontend, backend code. 1000s of lines of code With ReactJS as frontend and Django as backend with UI, proper authentication. I completed this in 2 days, coding continuously. After all these I got a reply saying we're not moving ahead with your application.
