User Initiation It all begins with you, the user! Your actions, like clicking a button or typing a command, start the process. 2. Application Interaction Next, applications like calculators or word processors help you execute specific tasks. When you interact with an application, it processes your commands. 3. Operating System Coordination The operating system (OS) then takes over, interpreting your commands and coordinating with the hardware. It manages resources and ensures everything runs smoothly. 4. Hardware Execution Finally, the hardware components, such as the CPU and hard drives, process your requests. The CPU performs calculations, while storage devices save your files. Closing the Loop After the hardware completes its work, the results flow back through the operating system to the application.
