An issue created by one company can take down airline systems, stock exchanges, manufacturing plants, supermarkets, banking systems, could render thousands of people to not work for a day. Looking at the financial impact of this is enormous. How could so many systems come to a halt. When we talk about having backups, backups of backups and so on, n number of mitigation plans for n number of things etc., But I think all the companies haven't even given a thought that windows can be brought down. And not having a backup plan for that, costed millions. Isn't this a wake up call for the companies. And will these companies still trust microsoft or crowdstrike after this. Thoughts?
