Chemical engineering is a field which focuses on developing products and scaling it from lab scale to industry scale. It is also known as process engineering, which involves the design of equipments, safety measures, plant operation, simulation and optimisation of the processes involved. And regarding the field of work it can be in any manufacturing plants notably oil and gas, petrochemicals, steel industries, Pharma, distillery, sugar industries and many more. In addition to industries we can also work in design, R&D, academia.
