Guy do I need a import licence to import product from alibaba to India ? And how much should I pay to import a 1000 kg machine via sea freight and deliver it to my state (Meghalaya)

Talk to the alibaba seller you are buying the machine from. He guide you properly regarding this. And imk you'll have to pay import duties, etc buy license isn't necessary.
