It's based on a freemium model where most of the initial requirements are free while there are paid features which you need to pay for. You can signup for the client using their email address on Exly and setup their products/services based on the various categories available like Recorded videos, 1-1 session, Live webinar etc. Exly will handle the payment processing and charge a commission out of the total price which can be either born by you/client or the customer. You can setup the website with basic free template which is available on their platform.
