Many argue that Data Engineering is a part of data science and analytics. It's different from data science, but they work together closely. Data Engineers come first in the process. They gather and organize data. This data is then used by Data Scientists. Their job is to analyse the data and find useful information from it. So, Data Engineers collect and prepare the data. Data Scientists use that data to discover insights and make decisions. Data Engineers focus on the bottom part of the hierarchy, especially collecting and storing/moving the data. They build a solid foundation for Data scientists to succeed.
