We have encryption. Can’t see identity but can send encrypted commands to ban people.

There must be a way to map whatever is encrypted to a user_id. Otherwise how will the system know whom to send the notification for a new comment/like on an anonymous post.

Yes. And we don’t need a token for public posts always keep one for a user. Only for anonymous notifs we create new ones. Hope I answer your question.

I think new token cannot be generated by the backend, it can only prompt the client app to refresh the token, which will eventually invalidate the old token, which means user can't get notifications for the older public posts. Not sure how you hav
