Vedic astrology helps to get insight in various aspects of human's life with help of planetary positions nd there are many schools also teaching it and many people believe in astrology. M not talking about anything negative. It's not about making fool. Many years back even when NASA wasn't in existence, astrologers predicted eclipses also even now also with the help of panchang which is pure maths.
