šŸ˜‘ Bengaluru-based Unacademy has reportedly laid off another 250 employees as it aims to become a profitable edtech unicorn startup, according to media reports. An Unacademy spokesperson confirmed the layoff but did not elaborate on the number of individuals impacted. According to the Inc42 report, 150 employees from the sales department were fired for not meeting their ā€œsales targets,ā€ while the remaining 100 employees were from various other departments. Financial Express was the first to report the development. According to the report, the restructuring exercise impacted around 600 employees.
