Before Jio data was expensive, and Voice call and SMS charges were also high compared to international standards.Jio introduced free voice calls and SMS offered data at unprecedentedly low prices this forced competitors to lower their tariffs to retain customers. Users faced issue with frequent call drops and connectivity problem,Data speeds were slow, and users experienced delays and buffering while using internet services.Jio built an extensive network across India ensuring highspeed internet even in rural areas.
