Alright guys! I need your thoughts So I'm a law student who has a sharp focus in the field of ai and I'm already researching to build an ai based startup... So I met an experienced lawyer yesterday he was in his late 50's and told me that i should solely focus on law and not divert my mind into other things like ai. My interest is in judiciary and after my law studies I would give judiciary exams. He suggested me to go for corporate law which I'm not interested in. I know he doesn't know the power of ai but he has now put me in a delimma. What do I do? I'm also helping my dad in his own business. Am I really diverting from law? Or is my future ai startup going to be a flaw?

Go with your intuition. Will you be happy even with less money while pursuing Ai. If yes definitely go after it and if No. Do better in your field of Law and family business.

Yes you shouldn’t, this is just the human in you that is getting you distracted, because understandably ai is the shit rn, but is it for you? What you wanna be around 24x7? If the answer is yea, then go, leave the debate, degree, be a man and get down to start it.

Being someone who used AI when it was not even making waves, it did help my Business a lot. But soon AI spread like a virus and it started producing not so relevant information. Reason? AI scrapes the websites to present information and soon it started representing repeated information because every other website was using AI. No matter what prompts, tones, or human it sounds, it was not helping. Long story short - As much as AI gave me, I suffered heavily. My website suffered huge loss. Experts says no one knows the future of AI. Be it writer or lawyer, coming from experience I would not suggest you to shift your focus to AI. Your primary should be something you can do without AI. :)
