So how do posts go on the trending page in medial? I think I've had some posts where they only had like 3 likes and went on trending page.

Oh, new trending algorithm. I think this move of showing older popular posts on trending will make trending seem more dead. Although Medial as a platform seems revolutionary, I think it needs some new features to make the app more engaging and alive

The very first trending post is not getting updated when we refresh. 🤨 Means the second post is getting refreshed when we refresh the trending posts. Anyone facing the same issue? 🤔

No more posts from that one trending topics will be allowed for a few days to keep Medial clean. 🙏

How ranking algorithm works on Medial? What kind of posts (or on what parameters) are shown on one's feed or trending?

@medial.app FEATURE SUGGESTION The Trending feed algorithm is repetitive—loading it shows duplicate posts. Implement stateful tracking (e.g. session or client-side ID cache) to filter out already viewed posts in feed queries.

Hey Niket. When does a posts in lates moves to trending if one gains enough attraction? What's the cycle, how much time it takes?
