It depends how to define a "superpower". What i think a superpower is -1- the country which has military bases all across the world and can reach any country in matter of 30 mins. 2- has world's biggest mass surveillance network. 3-has most Influential media houses. 4- invest most in R&D. And if a country has all of the above then the country is Rich as well as a "superpower". China is not a world superpower, it can be considered as regional superpower.

With their control over manufacturing of tech they already are a superpower, the military is of top grade ,none the less the youth is option exploring and eager to learn and try out things. Thing that'll hold back it is ig the communism in the country.
