No if the idea exists its ok you can definitely study flaws or research on something that is lacking in the existing idea and how you can improve it. Yes I did face a similar situation in the past with one of my old projects but we worked hard to add more features and improve upon the existing solution and ended up having a good product

Why should I feel disappointed ? I will try to modify or innovate something new in that idea or think totally unique and market disruptive idea ..... Choti choti bato se disappointed feel karogey tho ....... At the end of the day you will become loser because startup world is full of dedicated and hardworking peoples.
