Fake friends" refers to individuals who pretend to be friends but do not genuinely care about or support someone. They may exhibit insincere behaviors, such as being opportunistic, superficially friendly, or only interested in a relationship for personal gain. Fake friends often show their true colors when faced with difficulties or when their own needs take precedence over the well-being of the supposed friend. Their relationships lack authenticity and mutual trust, often leaving the other party feeling betrayed or used.
