For someone with no prior work experience but a unique idea for a product or service, what would you recommend as the first steps to turn their idea into reality?

I have seen in a few apps, now including medial, there’s an option to report a post even for the person who posted that said post. Is there any reason for giving this option? Am I missing to see the reason, because it makes no sense for me.
