You might think you’re paying a lot for your phones, but people who are making it are paying way more. Nope, not talking about Apple, Samsung or HTC, or any brand. But the people who are really assembling it, or giving these companies the minerals to make the phones, give their lives, about 5 die from one mine per week, just as an example. And the kids, right KIDS who assemble our phones? They are paid about £2.38, when seen as a per phone cost. But their profit margins include a hefty £500-600 on every phone sold. China is the hub for manufacturing, but unethical one, when looked deeper. It’s about time India does it with grace and show the world 🌍
